Bob Green, Our Founder
Our commitment to custom lenses from a customer-centered approach is our inheritance from Bob Green. Mr. Bob Green founded Alabaster Optical in 1976. Bob's generosity and service made him a leader in the Alabaster community for decades. He not only believed in human dignity, but also, he worked to show that dignity to everyone who visited his shop. He went a step further too by providing aid to those in the community who were less fortunate or had fallen on hard times. If ever we need a reminder of the standard set for us by Bob Green, we only need to remember that Alabaster named the road through downtown the “Bob Green Memorial Parkway.”
