Misti and Robert Edward Green, Jr.
Owners
Misti and Edward were both born and raised in Woodstock. Edward is Bob Green's son. He and Misti were married in 1997. They have two kids, two grandkids and four indoor “fur” babies! Edward enjoys racing, watching football and working, while Misti enjoys cooking, taking walks, family, and watching wildlife from her porch swing. Misti and Edward are partners in Alabaster Optical with Edward’s sister, Angela and they are proud to carry on the work that their father, Bob Green, started in Alabaster Optical. Misti joined Alabaster Optical’s in-office team full-time in July 2021.
Angela and Terrill Nelson
Owners
Angela and Terrill Nelson partnered with Misti and Edward to carry on the tradition of helping people in the spirt of Bob Green. They are also partners in another family-owned business, Nelson Heating & Air. Angela and Terrill were born and raised in Woodstock. They've been married since 1995, and they have five kids and seven grandkids. Angela enjoys family, cooking, shopping, and everything Christmas, while Terrill enjoys hunting, watching football and helping others. They both enjoy watching their grandkids play sports. The Nelsons attend the First Baptist Church of Woodstock.

April has been a face seen around here for many years. She grew up around the Green’s and is like one of the family members. Starting out scanning files into the computer but quickly moved into an administration position, and has been there now for over 10 years. She and her two children reside in Montevallo. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors.
Lydia Gonzales
Lydia is the newest addition to our team. She came from a vet background but was eager to learn about glasses. She lives in the area with her husband, step daughter, black lab, and 2 cats. Her passions include animals, photography, and the elderly. Even though she is still learning she has exceeded expectations and is ready to help add a little style to your eyewear needs.
